Materials and specifications we use on Dubai civil projects
Concrete is supplied to grade — typically C30 for villa slabs, C35 for pool shells, and C40 where structural loads or aggressive ground conditions demand it. Reinforcement is rated BS 4449 Grade 460/500 and detailed on shop drawings before fabrication. Blockwork uses solid concrete blocks for load-bearing walls and lightweight hollow blocks for non-structural partitions, with horizontal bed-reinforcement at every third course.
External finishes are specified for Dubai's UV and humidity load: weather-grade render with anti-cracking mesh, two-coat liquid-applied waterproofing on roofs and wet areas, and porcelain or natural stone paving on a properly compacted sub-base. We document the spec sheet for every material so what's quoted is what's delivered to site.
