Staircase, handrail & glass railing fabrication in Dubai
A staircase is the most-photographed structural element in any villa or office. We design and fabricate every stair as a custom piece — never off the shelf — so it suits the architecture, opens the space, and is safe to use for decades. Materials, treads and balustrades are selected together so the finished stair reads as one composition, not as parts bolted together on-site.
For commercial fit-outs and retail we fabricate fully welded steel staircases with anti-slip nosing, code-compliant rise/going, and powder-coated or wood-finished treads. For villas we focus on floating mono-stringer or twin-stringer designs with oak/walnut treads and frameless glass balustrades — clean, modern and easy to live with.
Handrails, balustrades and railings — every space
Stainless steel handrails in brushed or mirror finish (304 for interior, 316 for pool decks and coastal terraces — chlorine and salt corrode 304 within a year). Frameless tempered glass balustrades with point-fix spigots or full-channel base — pool-side, balcony and rooftop terrace. Cable railings for modern interior galleries. Vertical-blade and ornamental traditional railings for villa entrances, boundary stairs and gardens.
Every railing is fabricated to comply with Dubai Municipality safety heights (1100mm for balconies, 1200mm for pool decks, 900mm for interior stairs) and detailed to avoid the classic Dubai-failure points — rust streaks from carbon-steel fixings on stainless rails, glass standoffs corroded by chlorine spray, and timber handrails that crack in summer sun without UV finish.
Materials, finishes and lead time
Stringers: mild steel powder-coated or hot-dip galvanised, stainless 304 / 316 brushed or mirror, or wood-clad steel core. Treads: solid oak, walnut, ash, engineered timber, marble, porcelain, anti-slip steel chequer plate, or precast concrete. Risers: open, closed, glass infill or LED-lit. Lead times: a feature villa staircase 5–8 weeks; commercial steel staircases 3–5 weeks; pool/balcony glass balustrades 2–4 weeks.
Staircase, handrail and balustrade systems we build
Staircases: straight, L-shaped, U-shaped (switch-back), spiral, helical (curved), floating mono-stringer and twin-stringer. Stringer materials: powder-coated mild steel, hot-dip galvanised, brushed or mirror stainless 304/316, or wood-clad steel. Tread materials: solid oak/walnut/ash hardwood, engineered timber, marble, porcelain, glass, anti-slip steel, precast concrete. Risers: open, closed, glass infill or LED-illuminated.
Handrails and balustrades: stainless steel handrail with vertical balusters, stainless steel handrail with cable infill, slim aluminium with glass infill, frameless glass with top handrail, frameless glass with point-fix spigots, vertical-blade modern, ornamental traditional wrought-iron, and timber-and-steel composite handrails for villa interiors.
Pool, balcony and terrace balustrades — Dubai-grade
Frameless 12–15mm toughened or laminated toughened glass with stainless steel 316 point-fix spigots is the standard for villa pool decks, balconies and rooftop terraces in Dubai. We specify 316 (not 304) on every fixing exposed to chlorine spray or salt air — the cost difference is small, the longevity difference is the reason most failed Dubai railings need replacing within 3 years. Heights match Dubai Municipality code: 1100mm for balconies, 1200mm for pool surrounds, with proper child-safety spacing.
