What makes a paint job actually last in Dubai
Exterior paint in Dubai sun fades within 18–24 months if applied without proper UV-stable topcoat. Interior paint flakes within a year if walls weren't sanded, filled and primed properly. We over-invest in preparation — surface cleaning, crack filling, sanding, primer — because the topcoat only lasts if the substrate is right.
We use Jotun, Caparol and Asian Paints for most projects, matched to use case: low-sheen for ceilings, washable matte for living areas, semi-gloss for bathrooms and kitchens, weather-shield exterior for façades.
Scope and site protocol
Every painting project includes furniture covering, floor protection, masking of fixtures and a final clean. We do not leave paint marks on switches, frames or floors — finish quality matters as much as colour selection.
For occupied villas we phase work room by room so the family can stay in place.
Paint systems for Dubai's UV and humidity load
Interiors: 1 coat alkali-resistant primer + 2 coats premium emulsion (Jotun Majestic, Dulux Diamond or equivalent). Bathrooms and kitchens: mould-resistant scrubbable emulsion. Exteriors: anti-carbonation acrylic with proper surface preparation including crack-filling, fungal treatment and primer — exterior failures in Dubai are almost always preparation failures, not paint quality. Metal works: rust-converter + zinc primer + 2-coat UV-stable enamel.
Process and protection
Furniture wrapped and floors covered before work starts. Crack repair, sanding and filling completed and signed off before any paint goes on. Two coats minimum on every wall; cut-ins by hand, rolled finish on flat surfaces. Final walk-through with snag list and touch-up before handover. No dust, no overspray, no surprises.
